College Hosts 5-Day Career Capacity Building Training for Staff and Students

The College Micro Teaching Laboratory came alive on Tuesday, 2nd September 2025, as staff and students gathered for the opening ceremony of a 5-Day Career Capacity Building Training/Workshop. The workshop, designed to equip participants with essential professional and leadership skills, featured sessions on Resume Writing, Leadership and Team Building, Enhancing Leadership Skills, Team Dynamics and Strategic Planning, Alumni Engagement Strategy, and Communication Outreach.
Declaring the event open, the Provost of the College, Dr. Richard Ugbaha Utubaku, expressed gratitude to TETFund for their continued support and urged participants to take the training seriously. He emphasized that the knowledge gained would serve as a valuable tool in shaping their future careers.
The facilitators, Dr. B.I. Ugbong and Dr. P.O. Ebam, were on ground to lead participants through the different sessions. Their expertise and interactive approach ensured active engagement throughout the workshop.
The program, which ran from Tuesday, 2nd September to Thursday, 4th September 2025, concluded successfully at the same venue. During the closing ceremony, Comrade Pius Akpereka appreciated the Provost for his confidence in him to coordinate the program. He also commended the two facilitators for a job well done and assured that future workshops would be even better.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of certificates to participants, marking a rewarding end to the impactful training.
