Vision
The vision of the department is to produce qualitative Hausa L2 teachers, who will be able to teach effectively in primary and junior secondary school level.
Overview
The department of Hausa was introduced in Federal College of Education, Obudu in 1986/87 academic year. The department began with an enrolment of eleven (11) students one male and ten female, with one teaching staff.
In 1988 the department has it first permanent staff by name Malam Sanusi, M. Sani, and was later joined by Malam Nasir Aminu.
